One of the most romantic pantos of all time, Beauty and the Beast will be a spectacular and enchanting production for all the family.
Beauty and the Beast stars TV and Theatre favourite Samantha Womack as the Enchantress and Hi-de-Hi! star and panto legend Su Pollard as Mrs Potty. They will be joined by Britain’s Got Talent star Jamie Leahey as Silly Billy, panto dame Ben Stock as Dame Betty Bouffant and musical theatre actress Sheri Lineham as Belle.
Dreaming of a happier life, Belle finds herself transported to a cursed castle and held captive by a terrifying beast. To her surprise, the castle is full of magical characters placed under a spell by an evil enchantress. Can Belle see beyond the monster and fall in love with her captor before the last petal falls from the enchanted rose? Or will the Beast’s selfishness cost him the world he once knew and the hand of the girl who has melted his heart?

With special Guest Star, MR BASIL BRUSH! ‘Unleashed Basil ‘ looking dapper in complete pearly costume, your worthy Chairman, Mr Richard Gauntlett and this multi-talented cast, produced and directed by Miss Jan Hunt all transport you back to the golden days of traditional music hall with song, dance, magic and laughter. ‘Brush-ing’ the ivories to accompany this unmissable evening will be Wilton’s-favourite, Mr Tom Carradine.
Produced and directed by Jan Hunt, the evening will also bring to the stage memories of many of the stars from BBC TV’s long-running world famous series, ‘The Good Old Days‘.
Together, let’s revel in the days when beer was a penny a pint, income tax was sixpence in the pound, and the British Navy ruled the waves! Carefree, cheerful and uniquely British.

This Radio Play will be read in an authentic studio setting and brought to life with a foley artist recreating sound effects and atmospherics in the style of vintage radio drama live on stage.
