Ben Stock

Ben Stock is one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming TV presenters* (*words not presenter’s own). His warmth, natural charm and love of all things fabulous make him a TV Producer’s dream **(**words presenter’s own).

Born in Bristol, Ben was an instant hit landing himself the award of the LONGEST baby ever born in the hospital!

Hot-footing it to The Guildford School of Acting 3 years of rolling on the floor, feeling the space and generally wearing tights, a mask or a jock strap (or all 3!) left Ben fully prepped and primed for stardom!

Roles came flooding in - a Duck in Leeds, a Candlestick in Kuala Lumpur, a Drag Queen in Frankfurt and a Chelsea Pensioner on the QE2 in the middle of the Pacific Ocean! A keen pianist, singer and actor Ben teaches kids and students across the country and also fits in lots of charity work alongside true A-listers such as Su Pollard and The Krankies.
He’s enjoyed, and endured a 10 year (and rising) career treading the boards and bashing out the hits in the West End appearing in Beauty and the Beast, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and La Cage Aux Folles.

And now many a Bristolian (slightly more than 12) awake to hear Ben’s dulcet tones on BBC Radio Bristol and BBC Radio Wiltshire where Ben’s take on the latest news and showbiz gossip never ceases to both amuse and amaze!

From a little country village called Wick, Ben was shipped off to an all boys school in Bath – specialising in rugby and other un-playable sports - with a deaf music teacher and drama teacher Mr Pratt.
Ben is a TV and celebrity addict and is also hugely passionate about the theatre industry. He has a real love of people, conversation and sweet sherry and is just one of those guys who seems to get on with everyone* (*Grandma’s own words).

Ben hopes to meet you soon!
